From 27 November to 22 December 2026, Senate Square in the heart of the Finnish capital transforms into a winter wonderland. Framed by the glowing white Helsinki Cathedral, the city's oldest outdoor Christmas market offers a stylish, minimalist atmosphere centered around sophisticated Nordic design.

The market is open from Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Alongside curated craft stalls, a vibrant restaurant yard offers culinary highlights. A special highlight takes place on December 13th, when the newly crowned St. Lucia descends the steps of the cathedral in a solemn procession.
