Welcome to the Hexentanz Festival 2027 in Thallichtenberg
The Hexentanz Festival returns in 2027 for its 19th edition to the historic Burg Lichtenberg in Thallichtenberg. From 30 April to 2 May the impressive castle complex in the Palatinate hills transforms into a cauldron of pagan metal, folk, gothic rock and medieval sounds. Traditionally one of the first open-air festivals of the season, including the legendary Walpurgis battle.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Hexentanz Festival 2027 takes place from Friday 30 April to Sunday 2 May. Gates usually open from 1:00 p.m. Friday traditionally starts with the Walpurgis battle featuring metal-heavy acts. Across all three days bands from folk metal, pagan, gothic and medieval rock perform on the castle stages. The detailed lineup and exact set times are continuously updated on the official website. The music programme is complemented by a medieval market and camp life.
Tickets & Admission for Hexentanz Festival Thallichtenberg
Early-bird tickets (“Hexenbesen” / Burg Ticket) start at approximately 125–130 Euro. 3-day tickets are currently around 129.90 Euro. Day tickets, 2-day tickets and separate camping tickets are also available. Sales run via the official website hexentanz-festival.de as well as Ticket Regional and partners. Camping is not included in the festival ticket and must be booked separately. Prices may rise with later ticket tiers.
