Welcome to the Historic Roncalli Christmas Market Hamburg 2026 in Hamburg
From November 23 to December 23, 2026, the Rathausmarkt in front of Hamburg's City Hall transforms into a nostalgic Christmas market designed in the style of Circus Roncalli. Under the motto "art instead of commerce," visitors find an elegantly curated market with handicrafts, a historic carousel and a Santa figure that flies over the square every day.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The market is open daily from 11am to 9pm (closed on Christmas Day) with continuous programming for families and adults alike. The daily highlight is the flying Santa, who glides across the square on a cable system three times a day. On the four Advent Saturdays (November 29, December 6, 13 and 20), a Christmas parade also moves through the square at 2pm and 5pm.
