Welcome to the Husum Christmas Market 2026
From November 16 to December 27, 2026, the old town of Husum around the Marktplatz and the well known Tine fountain turns into one of the coziest Christmas towns in northern Germany. Known locally as Husumer Wiehnachtstied, the festive season combines historic facades, maritime charm and easygoing northern German hospitality right on the North Sea coast.

The Christmas Markets in Husum at a Glance
Husum Christmas Market around the Tine Fountain
The main market runs from November 16 to December 27, 2026 on the Marktplatz, with the exception of November 22 and December 25. It is open daily from roughly 10:00 to 22:00. Stalls selling mulled wine, sweets and handmade goods line the square around the Tine fountain against the backdrop of the historic old town.
Christmas Market at the Husumer Speicher on the Harbor
On the second Advent weekend, December 5 and 6, 2026, the Christmas market at the Speicher cultural center (Hafenstraße 17, 25813 Husum) opens from 10:00 to 17:00 each day. Across two floors right on the Husum harbor, selected craftspeople present jewelry, ceramics, woodwork and textiles in an intimate, waterside setting. The onsite cafe serves homemade cake, soup and Christmas punch.
Husum Advent Calendar Market at the Christmas House
Ahead of the main Advent season, the Husum Christmas House (Westerende) hosts its Advent calendar market on the weekend of October 24 and 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 each day. Admission is free. Visitors can browse and buy Advent calendars in many forms, from classic illustrated calendars to versions filled with incense cones, tea or small chocolates.

Entry to all three Christmas markets in Husum is completely free. There are no admission fees; visitors simply pay directly at the stalls for food, drinks and craft items.
