Grand Hotel Traian (Piata Unirii 1): The Eminescu Hall gala costs 750 lei per person and includes a four-course menu, all-night open bar, cocktail bar, Festivo Band and traditional urători. Restaurant Gustave in the same building offers the same menu and open bar with a DJ for 550 lei. Children under 10 pay 450 lei in Eminescu Hall and 250 lei in Gustave; ages 10–16 pay 550 and 350 lei respectively. Rooms for New Year’s night are sold at fixed rates including 1 January brunch (single from 500 lei, standard double 600 lei and up).

Other published parties (as of late September 2026): Restaurant Casablanca (Sos. Rediu) – 520 lei, festive menu and unlimited drinks (Imperial salon partly sold out; seats in the Ballroom). Moon Events in Popricani – 499 lei, festive menu, drinks, Formația Soni and DJ until morning, 150 lei deposit. Veranda – gourmet menu, premium open bar and artistic programme; price on request, group deals available. Pleiada Boutique Hotel (Sos. Bucium) sells only 3-night packages (about 30 Dec–2 Jan or 31 Dec–3 Jan) with three themed evenings: lăutărească (30 Dec), Moulin Rouge gala (31 Dec from 21:00) and Petrecere Domnească (1 Jan from 17:00); early booking from 2,900 lei per person (4* room) or 3,250 lei (5*), higher afterwards.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Iasi

• Getting there: Iasi has an airport, railway station and city buses (CTP). In recent years night lines ran after midnight from the Palace of Culture to several districts – check schedules just before 31 December. Taxis and ride-hailing are in high demand after midnight.
• What to wear: Hotel galas and restaurants usually expect smart casual to formal; clubs may ask for neon, white or themed outfits. Outside temperatures are cold – bring a warm layer for walks between venues and the square.
• Where to stay: Centre and Unirii Square rooms cost more and fill early. Grand Hotel Traian, Pleiada, Motel Bucium and others often bundle nights with brunch or spa. Many hotels require two- or three-night minimums over New Year.
