Welcome to the Ibiza Light Festival 2027 in Ibiza Town
The Ibiza Light Festival is an art, culture and technology festival that has, since 2016, turned the UNESCO World Heritage old town of Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town into a glowing work of art each autumn. Its main stage is the Baluarte de Santa Llúcia, one of the bastions of the Renaissance wall surrounding Dalt Vila. As of now, organizers have not announced a confirmed date for 2027.
Highlights and Attractions at the Ibiza Light Festival in Ibiza
- Large scale light installations set against the historic walls and alleys of Dalt Vila
- Video projections and mapping on the facades and bastions of the old town
- Interactive art installations that invite visitors to take part
- Work from local and international light and video artists
- A yearly theme that ties the artistic route together
- Sweeping views from the Baluarte de Santa Llúcia over the harbour and the Mediterranean
- An event for all ages set right in the middle of the historic old town
Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival traditionally takes place over one weekend in late autumn, usually in October or November, and runs across two evenings. At the last confirmed edition in November 2024, the program ran from around 7 pm to midnight each night, with an early evening opening. Visitors follow a set route through Dalt Vila, discovering light installations, projections and performances at different stops in the old town. Neither the date nor the full program for 2027 has been announced yet, and details will be published on the official website closer to the event.
Tickets and Admission for the Ibiza Light Festival
The Ibiza Light Festival has traditionally been completely free to attend, so no tickets are required. This has been the case at every edition held so far. Updates on the 2027 edition will be shared through the festival's official website and social media channels.

- Late autumn evenings can be cool, so a light jacket is worth bringing
- Since exact dates are not yet confirmed, it is worth checking the festival's official website or social media beforehand
- Once a date is announced, compare accommodation in Ibiza Town early given how popular the old town is
