iDeeJazz 2026 – International Jazz and Rhythm Music Festival in Tartu
From 29 to 31 October 2026, Tartu, Estonia's second-largest city and home to one of the oldest universities in Northern Europe, hosts the iDeeJazz International Jazz and Rhythm Music Festival. Founded in 2011 by pianist and composer Oleg Pissarenko, iDeeJazz has grown into the most important international jazz festival in Estonia outside Tallinn, with concerts spanning three cities: Tartu, Narva and Viimsi. Over three evenings, top jazz artists from Estonia and across Europe take to the stage in one of Tartu's finest concert halls.

Program
The festival traditionally opens with a joint concert by jazz students from Estonia's leading music schools, giving emerging talent a platform alongside international headliners. Over the following evenings, leading European jazz artists perform across a wide range of styles: from classical and contemporary jazz to world music, funk, soul, and electroacoustic soundscapes. The full 2026 lineup will be announced on the official festival website. Tickets are available through the Estonian ticketing platform Piletikeskus.
Concerts take place in the Tubina Concert Hall at the Heino Elleri Music School (Lossi tn 15, Tartu). The 230-seat venue is equipped with a Steinway concert grand piano and offers exceptional acoustic quality.
