Welcome to the Into the Woods ADE 2026 in Amsterdam

Into the Woods ADE 2026 takes over NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam-Noord on Friday 23 October and Saturday 24 October 2026. As an official Amsterdam Dance Event festival, it turns the former shipyard into a two-day indoor event with seven covered stages, large-scale art and more than 70 national and international acts. Doors open at 13:00 on Friday and 12:00 on Saturday; both days run until 23:00.

Highlights & Attractions at Into the Woods ADE in Amsterdam

  • Official ADE festival: a season finale of techno, house, disco, UKG, breaks, melodic techno, hardhouse and trance.
  • Seven indoor stages in the raw halls of NDSM Wharf – daytime, dusk and evening – plus outdoor areas of the yard to explore.
  • 70+ artists; confirmed names include Young Marco, DJ BORING, Skin On Skin, PARAMIDA, Sidney Charles, Antal & Danilo Plessow, Jyoty, Obskür, Weval (DJ), Budakid, Héctor Oaks, Clara Cuvé and Cynthia Spiering. More names still to come.
  • One of the few ADE events that starts in the afternoon – a bridge between conference hours, clubs and the night programme.
  • Oversized installations and stage design in an industrial setting of steel, concrete and harbour water.
  • Free GVB ferry F4 from Amsterdam Centraal to the wharf in about ten minutes.
  • 18+ with ID required. An ADE Pro Pass can get you in, but capacity is not guaranteed – buy a dedicated festival ticket if you need a confirmed entry.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Amsterdam

  • Getting there: Free GVB ferry F4 (purple, far left) from Amsterdam Centraal to NDSM Wharf, about 10 minutes. Alternative: F7 from Pontsteiger (about 7 minutes). By bike, take F3 to Buiksloterweg and ride about 10 minutes. Metro Noorderpark then bus 391/394. By car: A10 exit S118; park at Parking NDSM (entrance Mt. Lincolnweg) or on-street around the yard – expensive and scarce during ADE. The ferry is the best option.
  • Weather and clothing: Late October in Amsterdam is often 8–15 °C, windy on the IJ and frequently wet. Stages are indoors; the ferry and outdoor yard are not. Layers, sturdy shoes and a light rain jacket. Rigid umbrellas are usually a poor fit on a festival site.
  • Where to stay: ADE is peak season. Hotels in Amsterdam-Noord (near NDSM) and in the centre book out early. If you do not want to race the last regular ferry after 23:00, stay in the north or use the weekend night ferry (F5). Book as soon as you have tickets.
  • On site: No strict dress code. Pack earplugs; cashless payment is standard at Dutch festivals. Celebrate Safe: look after yourself and others. Arrive early for busy rooms, especially on a Pro Pass.
  • Official channels only: tickets via ade.intothewoods.nl / tickets.intothewoods.nl, not classifieds or social DMs. Line-up, stage map and FAQ update on intothewoods.nl/ade. The Amersfoort forest edition (Bosspot) is a different event – this page covers only the ADE edition at NDSM Wharf.
