The Iphöfer Weihnachtsmarkt 2026 takes place on the second Advent weekend, Saturday 5 December from 15:00 to 21:00 and Sunday 6 December from 11:00 to 18:00, in the historic old town of Iphofen. As an arts and crafts market around the market square, the festively decorated town hall, the town hall cellar, the vinothek and Lange Gasse, it welcomes visitors with more than 50 exhibitors for a charming pre-Christmas stroll. The wine town of Iphofen offers authentic Franconian atmosphere with regional specialities and festive lighting.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The market stretches across the market square, town hall forecourt, church square, town hall cellar, vinothek and Lange Gasse. On Saturday the opening traditionally features the mayor and a brass choir. Musical contributions from brass choirs, the Iphofen/Willanzheim youth orchestra and the Advent concert in St. Veit parish church create a festive mood. On Sunday it is often possible to buy Christmas trees on site. Local winemakers, hosts and creatives offer mulled wine, punch and specialities. The Iphöfer Weihnachtsmarkt is the central and only major Christmas market of the wine town. It combines arts and crafts, enjoyment and tradition in the medieval-style old town. Visitors stroll between illuminated stalls, enjoy Franconian wines in the vinothek and discover handmade products. The cosy atmosphere with loving decorations by the municipal works department and atmospheric lighting makes it a highlight in the Franconian Wine Country.
