Welcome to the Jazz en Tête 2027 in Clermont-Ferrand
Jazz en Tête is Clermont-Ferrand’s international jazz festival and returns in 2027 for its expected 40th edition at the Maison de la Culture. Founded in 1988, this autumn festival places major figures of world jazz beside emerging talent. Exact 2027 dates have not yet been announced; the event traditionally runs over five evenings in October.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The 2027 line-up has not been published yet. In previous years, main concerts ran Tuesday to Saturday at 20:00 at the Maison de la Culture. Artistic direction typically pairs established names with new voices: swing, post-bop, spiritual jazz, African-American tradition, Latin rhythms and European improvisation. Tickets & Admission for Jazz en Tête Clermont-Ferrand
Ticket prices for 2027 have not been announced. As a guide, the last edition charged around EUR 10 for students and school pupils, reduced rates of about EUR 25–32, a full price of around EUR 37 per night, a 3-day pass around EUR 96 and a 5-day subscription around EUR 150. In earlier editions, children under 12 accompanied by an adult entered free. Tickets are typically sold via Eventim, Fnac Spectacles, Librairie Les Volcans and the tourist office. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Clermont-Ferrand
- Getting there: Maison de la Culture has its own tram stop; from Clermont-Ferrand station the venue is easy by tram or on foot. There is a C.vélo bike station at Place de Jaude.
- Weather and clothing: October evenings in Auvergne can be cool and wet; concert dress is informal, but bring a warm coat for the walk.
- Book hotels early, especially in the centre around Place de Jaude and the festival venue.
- Single tickets for headline nights often sell out; a 3- or 5-day pass is worth it if you plan several concerts.
