Welcome to the Jazz Open Stuttgart 2027 in Stuttgart
Jazz Open Stuttgart 2027 takes place from 30 June to 11 July right in the heart of Stuttgart’s city centre. The internationally renowned city festival for Jazz & Beyond brings major names from jazz, pop, soul and related genres to Schlossplatz, the courtyard of the Old Castle and other stages, attracting more than 75,000 visitors each year.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Over twelve days the Jazz Open transform Stuttgart’s city centre into a lively music hotspot. The major concerts take place mainly in the evenings on Schlossplatz and at the Old Castle. The programme is complemented by club concerts and free Open Stages. The detailed line-up is announced step by step; further headliners are expected at the end of September and beginning of October 2026. Ticket sales for the already announced concerts start on 9 October 2026 via the official ticket shop.
Tickets & Admission for Jazz Open Stuttgart Stuttgart
Tickets are expected to start from around 25 euros (single tickets and festival passes). Different categories are available for standing and seated areas on Schlossplatz and at the Old Castle as well as club tickets. Presale for the already announced concerts begins on 9 October 2026 exclusively via jazzopen.com. Open Stage concerts are free of charge. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Stuttgart
- Public transport is recommended: Schlossplatz and the Old Castle are centrally located and easily reachable by S-Bahn, city railway and bus.
- Bring light summer clothing and comfortable shoes; evenings can become cooler.
- Book accommodation in the city centre or near the main station early, as the festival is very popular.
- Use surrounding multi-storey car parks; Schlossplatz itself is closed to traffic during the concerts.
- Arrive early to enjoy the atmosphere and the free Open Stages while avoiding the largest crowds.
