Welcome to the Jeneverfeesten 2026 in Hasselt
The Jeneverfeesten 2026 take place on 17 and 18 October in the historic centre of Hasselt, Belgium. This two-day city festival celebrates Hasselt’s rich jenever (genever) heritage with tastings, music, street theatre and the famous waiter’s race. It ranks among Belgium’s largest and most exuberant city celebrations.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
On 17 and 18 October 2026 the city centre of Hasselt turns into a large-scale jenever celebration. Daytime activities include tastings, museum programmes (approximately 10:00–19:00) and street events. Highlights are the presentation of the new museum jenever and ambassador on Saturday and the waiter’s race on Sunday. Music and entertainment continue into the evening. Tickets & Admission for Jeneverfeesten Hasselt
Admission to the Jeneverfeesten is free of charge. Drinks and food at the stalls as well as any regular museum tickets (outside free festival offers) are paid separately. New uniform reusable glasses are used on site; bringing your own glass is not permitted.
