Welcome to the Kipferlmarkt at Schloss Hofhegnenberg 2026 in Steindorf
The Kipferlmarkt at Schloss Hofhegnenberg in Steindorf is a particularly atmospheric Christmas market in the historic castle courtyard. For more than 20 years the castle owners have opened the private inner courtyard on an Advent weekend, creating a cosy atmosphere with culinary specialities, music and a charitable character. All proceeds are donated to local charitable causes.

For 2026 the dates are Saturday 5 December and Sunday 6 December, each from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The programme includes Holy Masses in the castle chapel, church tours, musical performances and on Sunday a visit from St. Nicholas. Many visitors arrive early to secure the popular home-baked Kipferl.
