Program & Schedule: When and Where to Celebrate New Year's Eve in La Clusaz
New Year's Eve in La Clusaz traditionally starts early in the evening with the Ski Show du Nouvel An at Champ Giguet (Front de neige de la Patinoire). From 6 pm to 7 pm, ESF ski instructors ski down the slope with torches and then put on a show with music and pyrotechnics. Mulled wine, hot chocolate and Reblochon Fermier are served. Entry is free; pets are not allowed.
For an evening up in the mountains, Restaurant 1647 on the Plateau de Beauregard offers a reveillon dinner with a live concert. The night opens with a guided torchlit walk of about 30 minutes from the Chemin de Beauregard (meeting point at 6:30 pm); service starts at 8:30 pm and the evening runs until about 1 am. Booking is required; the name of the performer and the menu details had not been published at the time of research.
For dancing and nightlife in the village, Le Bal (66 Route des Grandes Alpes) is the best known address. In winter it is open daily from 4 pm to 2 am, with dancing from 11 pm after dinner. At the private club Le B, a resident DJ takes over. Whether and with what programme Le Bal and Le B will open on New Year's Eve 2026 had not been officially confirmed. Last season, club entry cost 25 euros per person (including a glass of champagne for guests arriving before midnight); no prices have been published for 2026/2027. The Ski Show du Nouvel An is free and needs no registration. The reveillon dinner at Restaurant 1647 requires an online reservation through the restaurant's ticketing page; the organiser does not list a price on its site, so it should be confirmed before booking (phone +33 4 56 19 03 65 or email [email protected]). Clubs, bars and restaurants set their own prices and booking rules, which are usually published shortly before New Year's Eve. Places are traditionally limited, so it is wise to enquire early.
