Welcome to the Laurenzi-Messe Marktheidenfeld 2027 in Marktheidenfeld

The Laurenzi-Messe in Marktheidenfeld is one of the oldest and most popular folk festivals in Lower Franconia. Every year in August around the Assumption of Mary, the Martinswiese right on the Main river turns into a large festival site with a marquee, beer garden, wine village, amusement park and the traditional Laurenzi Market. The riverside location on the edge of the Spessart makes the festival a special experience for the whole family.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The Laurenzi-Messe traditionally takes place in August around the Assumption of Mary holiday and usually lasts ten days. The marquee opens daily from 11 a.m. (Sundays and public holidays from 10:30 a.m.) and offers live music and party atmosphere in the evenings. The Laurenzi Market is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The amusement park runs from approximately 11 a.m. to midnight.
