Welcome to the Le Rock des Pistes 2026/2027 in Les Arcs

Le Rock des Pistes brings live rock and skiing together in Les Arcs, the high-altitude resort above Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the French Alps. The 2026/2027 ski season opens on 12 December 2026 and is scheduled to run until 24 April 2027; exact concert dates and the next official rock line-up had not been published at the time of writing. The natural hub is Arc 1800, linked to Arc 1600, Arc 1950, Arc 2000 and the 425 km Paradiski area.

Highlights & Attractions at Le Rock des Pistes in Les Arcs

  • Live rock and band sets in a ski-resort setting rather than a city club circuit
  • Afternoon slope-side shows and after-ski in Arc 1800
  • Access to the Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry area with about 200 km of pistes
  • Optional Paradiski upgrade with 425 km of runs and the Vanoise Express
  • Views towards Mont Blanc and the 3,226 m Aiguille Rouge
  • Selected free live sessions in the villages, including Thursday nights in Arc 1950
  • La Folie Douce Arc 1800 as the main open-air mountain stage above the pistes

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

Days usually split between skiing and live music: mornings on the blues and reds around Arc 1800 and Arc 1600, afternoon sets on high-altitude stages, then after-ski bands and DJs in the villages. Headline times, stage maps and the 2027 rock bill for Le Rock des Pistes had not been released; check lesarcs.com and the weekly entertainment diary shortly before you travel.

Les Arcs also hosts other winter music weekends, including the Electronic Peak Festival from 26 to 28 March 2027 in Arc 1800, plus Unlimited Folie dates at La Folie Douce. For guitar-led live music, watch Arc en scène in Arc 1950 and the daytime programme at La Folie Douce. Outdoor shows may be shortened or moved in high wind, poor visibility or avalanche risk.

Tickets & Admission for Le Rock des Pistes Les Arcs

No dedicated Le Rock des Pistes festival pass had been published at the time of research. Slope-side concerts normally require a valid ski pass. Official 2026/2027 high-season Classic Pass prices (Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry, 19 December 2026 to 16 April 2027) are EUR 71 for 1 day, EUR 368 for 6 days and EUR 422 for 7 days (ages 13–64). The Essential Pass with Paradiski access is EUR 78 for 1 day and EUR 412 for 6 days. Some village concerts, including Arc en scène, are free. Buy lift passes on the official mountain-area site; buy any extra festival tickets only from the organiser once they go on sale.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Les Arcs

  • Take the TGV to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then the funicular to Arc 1600 in about seven minutes; a train ticket to Bourg-Saint-Maurice often includes a funicular return. Free inter-resort shuttles continue to Arc 1800, 1950 and 2000.
  • March can be warm on the 1,800 m terraces and bitterly cold on the Aiguille Rouge. Pack layers, sunglasses, high-factor sunscreen and sturdy ski boots for standing on snow during outdoor sets.
  • Book Arc 1800 early if you want to stay close to La Folie Douce and nightlife; Arc 1950 is car-free and quieter. French school-holiday weeks sell out first.
  • Many piste stages are reachable only on skis or a snowboard. Do not hike to high concerts without a valid pass or off the marked route.
  • Use the Paradiski YUGE app for lift times, shuttles, webcams and the evening programme. Drink less than you would at sea level and plan your last descent before the lifts close.
