What is Leeds Festival?
The Leeds Festival is one of the biggest rock and indie festivals in the United Kingdom and runs simultaneously with Reading Festival; the two share most of their line up but take place at two different sites. Since 1999, Leeds has drawn around 80,000 music fans to Bramham Park in West Yorkshire over one weekend, covering everything from punk and metal to rock, alternative and dance.
When is Leeds Festival 2026?
Leeds Festival 2026 runs from Thursday, 27 August, to Sunday, 30 August 2026, falling on the traditional English Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August. The arena is open on the main days from around 11:00 AM to 12:30 AM, and from 5:00 PM on arrival day Thursday. The campsite opens for weekend ticket holders at 3:00 AM on Thursday and closes at midday on Monday, 31 August.

The festival takes place at Bramham Park near Wetherby, about 16 kilometres northeast of Leeds city centre. The nearest train station is Leeds Train Station, with regular shuttle buses (First Bus) running directly to the festival site; the drive from the station to the site takes around 30 minutes.
