Welcome to the Les Georges Festival 2027 in Fribourg
The 13th Les Georges Festival runs from 12 to 17 July 2027 on Place Georges-Python in central Fribourg. RTS confirmed those dates after the 12th edition (13 to 18 July 2026), which drew about 19,500 visitors. The urban open-air mixes pop, rap, indie and electronic acts on two stages: Grande scene and Le Square. Shows usually start around 18:00.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The 2027 lineup is not yet published on lesgeorges.ch. In 2026 the bill included Benjamin Biolay, Solann, Oklou, Rim'K, Giorgio Poi, Flora Fishbach and St Graal. Monday, Thursday and Friday were free; Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday were ticketed. Family activities sat on Wednesday in 2026. Afters ran at bars such as Le Crapule and Le Nouveau Monde. Check lesgeorges.ch for the 2027 timetable.
The organiser is Association les georges festival. The square is wheelchair accessible. This is a summer city festival, not a winter or ski event.

2027 prices are not published yet. In 2026 a standard paid night cost 39 to 49 CHF (about 41 to 52 euros at 1 CHF = 1.06 EUR), reduced tickets 34 to 44 CHF (about 36 to 47 euros), and the six-day pass 104 CHF (about 110 euros). Three nights were free, so price_min 0 and price_max 110 as a 2026 reference. Sales ran via lesgeorges.ch and Petzi. 2027 rates may change; buy only from the official site.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Fribourg
- Walk from Fribourg CFF: left out of the station, Place de la Gare, Rue de Romont to Place Georges-Python
- July nights can be hot or wet; pack a light layer and solid shoes
- Book hotels and hostels in the old town early; six festival nights fill the city
- In 2026 a paid-night ticket doubled as a TPF pass in Frimobil zone 10; confirm 2027 on lesgeorges.ch
- No car park on the square; use bike parking and public transport
