The Lëtzebuerger Chrëschtmaart 2026/2027 takes place from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 on the historic Place d’Armes in Luxembourg City. As the traditional heart of the Winterlights festival, it features a giant Christmas tree, nativity scene, carousels and numerous wooden chalets in a festive atmosphere.

The market is generally open Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 21:00 and Fridays and Saturdays until 22:00 (exact 2026/2027 hours may still be confirmed; shorter hours often apply on 24 and 31 December, closed on 25 December). Visitors enjoy crafts, local and international specialities as well as a family-friendly programme with rides and entertainment. It is the city’s oldest and most traditional Christmas market and appeals to families and tourists alike.
