Welcome to Lev singt 2027 in Leverkusen

On Friday, 29 January 2027, from 19:11, the Terrassensaal at Forum Leverkusen fills again with hundreds of voices: Lev singt – the city’s XXL sing-along concert. After a successful 2026 comeback (around 850 guests and about €9,000 in donations), the event returns for another year. Organised by the City of Leverkusen’s Culture and City Marketing department, with main sponsor EVL, all proceeds go to Leverkusen’s carnival processions (FLK).

Highlights & Attractions at Lev singt in Leverkusen

  • XXL sing-along in the style of a carnival session: tables, chairs, catering and free seating in the Terrassensaal.
  • Joint singing of pop hits, Schlager and carnival songs – lyrics projected on screen; everyone is invited to join in.
  • Host and lead singer Arthur Horváth (Head of Culture and City Marketing), backed by multi-genre singer Sarah Bouwers and pianist Yuhao Guo.
  • A singing “Elferrat” (carnival committee choir) and Cologne-style surprise guests on stage.
  • Costumes are welcome – the room is deliberately set up like a classic carnival session.
  • Charity focus: all proceeds support Leverkusen’s carnival processions; in 2026 about €9,000 was raised.
  • The format is now secured for the longer term after a gap from 2018 to the 2026 comeback, thanks to EVL support and strong public demand.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

Doors open for a 19:11 start on 29 January 2027 in the Terrassensaal at Forum Leverkusen (Am Büchelter Hof 9). The evening follows the proven “mass sing-along” idea: the audience joins in well-known titles from pop, Schlager and Rhineland carnival. Arthur Horváth hosts and leads; Sarah Bouwers and Yuhao Guo provide live support. A singing Elferrat and surprise guests from the Cologne carnival scene complete the stage. No singing experience is required – the point is shared fun.

The hall is set with tables and chairs as at a large carnival session; drinks and snacks are available on site. Exact door times can vary slightly; in 2026 admission was typically before 19:00. A fixed end time is not always published; plan for a full evening programme.
