Welcome to LEVlive 2027 in Leverkusen

LEVlive 2027 is Leverkusen’s traditional music and family festival in the Wiesdorf pedestrian zone, scheduled for 3–5 September 2027. Organised by the Werbegemeinschaft City Leverkusen, it combines a market, fairground rides, crafts and family activities – admission is free. Sunday 5 September 2027 is also planned as an open shopping Sunday, with city-centre shops typically open from 13:00 to 18:00.

Highlights & Attractions at LEVlive in Leverkusen

  • Free neighbourhood festival with open access across the Wiesdorf pedestrian zone – ideal for families and spontaneous visits.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

LEVlive runs over the weekend around the first Sunday in September. For 2027 the confirmed window is 3–5 September, with the open shopping Sunday on 5 September. Detailed stage and music schedules are usually published closer to the date. In previous years, market stalls, rides and club activities filled the pedestrian zone during the day; typical market hours were roughly 11:00–18:00. On Sunday the open shopping period complements the programme while family attractions and stalls continue.

In 2026 (5–6 September) the programme included market and fairground elements, an expanded flea and antique area, and on Sunday an environmental exchange (Umweltbörse) on the town-hall square. Whether similar extras return in 2027 is decided closer to the event. Updates appear on lust-auf-leverkusen.de and via the City of Leverkusen.

Tickets & Admission for LEVlive Leverkusen

LEVlive is free to attend: there are no entry tickets and no ticket sales for the festival area. Costs only arise from optional purchases at market stalls, food and drinks, or individual fairground rides. The open shopping Sunday is also free to enter. Official information and dates are available at lust-auf-leverkusen.de and leverkusen.de.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Leverkusen

  • Getting there: The Wiesdorf pedestrian zone is central and well served by bus and train (stops around Wiesdorfer Platz and Rathausgalerie). By car, expect temporary closures on festival days – including parts of Dhünnstraße and the usual access to Kinopolis / Rathausgalerie car park; the car park is usually still reachable via the Wöhlerstraße/Carl-Leverkus-Straße roundabout. Use nearby multi-storey car parks and check the city’s latest notices.
  • Weather and clothing: Early September in Leverkusen is often mild, with possible showers. Comfortable shoes for walking the pedestrian zone and a light jacket or rain cover are useful.
  • Parking: The free car park on Marienburger Straße (under the elevated motorway) may be unavailable on Saturdays when Bayer 04 Leverkusen play at home – check the match calendar. On Sundays it is usually open again.
  • With children: Carousel and bungee trampoline are regular features; bring cash or common payment methods for rides and snacks. The open shopping Sunday works well as a combined family outing and shopping trip.
  • Up-to-date info: Road and parking restrictions are announced by the City of Leverkusen a few days before the festival. Programme and stall details follow via the Werbegemeinschaft City Leverkusen and lust-auf-leverkusen.de.
