What is the Liquicity Festival?
The Liquicity Festival is one of the world's best known camping festivals for liquid drum and bass; the melodic, warm branch of electronic bass music. On the spacious Geestmerambacht grounds near Oudkarspel, a quiet Dutch parkland turns for one weekend into a full blown theme park for the drum and bass scene, complete with amusement rides, hot tubs and volleyball courts scattered between the stages. Visitors from more than seventy countries travel in each year to be part of what the festival calls its "Galaxy of Dreams" community.
When and where does Liquicity Festival 2027 take place?
The next edition runs from 23 to 25 July 2027, daily from 11:00 to midnight, at Geestmerambacht Parkland in Oudkarspel (Festivalweg 1). The site sits roughly 45 minutes north of Amsterdam and can be reached via the N245 and N242 roads, or by train to Alkmaar followed by a shuttle bus. In previous years an earlier Thursday arrival option was also available; whether this returns for 2027 had not been officially confirmed at the time of research.

Alongside the music, recurring extras include yoga sessions, chill areas and a Silent Disco kicking off the weekend the night before the main program starts.
