From 27 November 2026 to 13 January 2027, Slovenia's capital transforms into a glowing winter fairy tale. Program
The festive season kicks off officially on Friday, 27 November 2026, with the grand illumination of the city's famous holiday lights. Market stalls are open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (extended until 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays). Alongside riverside strolls, visitors can enjoy live music acts, street performers, and family-friendly events.
Tickets
Admission to the historic city center, all Christmas market stalls, and open-air concert venues in Ljubljana is completely free of charge. No tickets or advance reservations are required.
