From December 11 to 13, 2026, the historic Marktplatz of the mining town of Lößnitz in the Ore Mountains turns into a glowing sea of festive lights. The market traces back to a privilege granted in 1691, making it one of the oldest Christmas markets in the region, and it traditionally takes place on the third weekend of Advent.
