Welcome to the Lord Mayor's Show 2026 in the City of London
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the City of London once again hosts the oldest and least rehearsed civic procession in the world. The Lord Mayor's Show traditionally sets off from Mansion House and winds through the streets of the City to the Royal Courts of Justice, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The procession sets off from Mansion House at 11:00 am and travels via Cheapside, passing St Paul's Cathedral, before reaching the Royal Courts of Justice at around 11:30 am, where the new Lord or Lady Mayor takes the oath of allegiance. In the early afternoon the parade returns via Victoria Embankment, with the whole event finishing at around 3:30 pm. Traditionally, an evening fireworks display over the Thames closes out the day, usually starting around 5:15 pm.

The Lord Mayor's Show is a completely free street event, no tickets are required for the procession itself. Arriving early along the route is the best way to secure a good spot, since general viewing areas are not reserved.
