Loxwood Joust 2026 – Enter the Kingdom of Loxwood
The Loxwood Joust returns in summer 2026 as the UK's most spectacular and immersive medieval festival. Across three consecutive weekends from 1 to 16 August 2026, Loxwood Meadow in West Sussex transforms into a living kingdom where visitors don't merely watch history – they become part of it. Gates open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Programme
The Loxwood Joust is far more than a spectator event. Visitors enter the Kingdom of Loxwood through an enchanted forest and are immediately drawn into a living storyline. In 2026, the Kingdom celebrates around Queen Helena and King Peatre. Twice daily, professional riders deliver full-contact jousting at full gallop, while elsewhere longbow volleys fill the air, blacksmiths hammer iron, and herbalists share their secrets. Children can follow adventure quests and meet Boulderon the talking wall. The Medieval Banquet offers a four-course feast accompanied by court jesters and period music (advance booking required). Camping guests enjoy an extended evening programme with campfire, music and food until 11:00 PM.
Tickets & Prices
Day passes for the Loxwood Joust 2026 must be booked in advance online through the official website. Adults (15+): £27. Children (ages 4–14): £8. Children under 4: free entry. A separate vehicle pass must be added per car as on-site parking is limited. A shuttle bus runs from Horsham Station and Guildford Station (advance booking required). Weekend camping passes are available separately and include festival entry, campsite access, evening entertainment and parking.

Getting There
Loxwood Meadow is located on the B2133 between Loxwood and Wisborough Green in West Sussex, approximately 50 km south of London. By car: follow signs for Loxwood Meadow (postcode for navigation: RH14 0AL). By train: alight at Billingshurst Station (connections from London Victoria, Horsham and Bognor Regis), then take the shuttle bus to the festival. Shuttle bus tickets must be booked in advance via the official website.
