Welcome to the Ludwigsburg Baroque Christmas Market 2026 in Ludwigsburg
The Ludwigsburg Baroque Christmas Market 2026 transforms the historic Marktplatz and Arsenalplatz from 24 November to 22 December into a festive landscape of lights. Beneath illuminated angel figures and against a Baroque backdrop, visitors find around 150 lovingly decorated stalls, culinary delights and a varied stage programme.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The market runs from 24 November to 22 December 2026. On Marktplatz opening hours are daily from 11:00 to 21:00. Arsenalplatz is open Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 22:00 and Friday to Saturday until 23:00. Monday to Friday there is a children’s programme at 16:00; at weekends additional performances take place at 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00. Musical contributions, puppet theatre and Christmas carols complete the programme.

The main market extends across the Baroque Marktplatz around the Protestant town church and the Catholic church as well as towards Holzmarkt. Newly added is Arsenalplatz with further stalls, a carousel and the Blübähnle. The combination of historic architecture, illuminated angels and a diverse range of offerings makes this market one of the most atmospheric in the region.
