Welcome to the Lyon Bière Festival 2027 in Lyon
The Lyon Bière Festival is the leading craft beer event in the region and is expected to take place in spring 2027. Over two days, more than 100 independent breweries from France and abroad present hundreds of specialty beers. In recent years the venue has been Double Mixte in Villeurbanne, close to the centre of Lyon. Exact dates for 2027 have not yet been announced (TBA).

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival typically lasts two days and offers an intensive programme of tastings, talks and entertainment. Visitors receive a tasting glass on entry and can sample beers at the brewery stands (some free, most paid). The offer is completed by food trucks, DJ sets and special masterclasses. The exact daily schedule and opening hours will be published together with the 2027 dates. Previous editions ran on Friday evening and all day Saturday.
Tickets & Admission for Lyon Bière Festival Lyon
Admission is charged. In the 2026 edition pre-sale prices were approximately €6.50 for Friday, €8.50 for Saturday and €14 for the two-day pass (slightly higher on site). A tasting glass is included in the ticket price. Current prices and ticket sales for 2027 will be available on the official website lyonbierefestival.fr once dates are confirmed. Children under 12 previously had free entry when accompanied by adults; the event is primarily aimed at adults (18+ for tastings).
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Lyon
- Public transport is recommended: Tram T1 or T4 (stop near Double Mixte / Gaston Berger), metro and buses from central Lyon. Parking is limited.
- Wear comfortable shoes and light clothing – you will be standing and tasting a lot. Enjoy alcohol in moderation.
- Book accommodation in Lyon or Villeurbanne early, especially if the festival falls on a weekend.
- Bring some cash, as not every stand accepts cards only; most have mobile payment terminals.
