Program
Fernán Gómez. Centro Cultural de la Villa serves as the central exhibition venue for the ninth consecutive year, hosting the retrospective "André Ricard. Diseño en uso" alongside "Arte textil en Guatemala: diseño e identidad", the first comprehensive presentation of Guatemalan textile design in Spain. Other institutions, including CaixaForum Madrid, the National Museum of Decorative Arts, the Cerralbo Museum, the National Archaeological Museum and the Institución Libre de Enseñanza, open their doors for special exhibitions and installations. As a new addition this year, the festival presents FORMA Design Fair, Spain's first fair dedicated to collectible design, from 5 to 8 March at Matadero Madrid. The program is rounded out by the Madrid DesignPRO conference series, featuring panel discussions, talks and masterclasses, plus Open Studios across several neighborhoods where visitors can explore workshops and ateliers.
Tickets
Access to the exhibitions and most activities of the Madrid Design Festival is free, subject to venue capacity. Some formats such as workshops, masterclasses or the FORMA Design Fair may require separate registration or an entry fee; the festival publishes updated details on its website throughout the event.
