Welcome to the Malaga Christmas Market & Lights 2026
From November 27, 2026, to January 6, 2027, the southern Spanish coastal city of Malaga transforms into a radiant Christmas wonderland. Unlike the freezing winter markets of Central Europe, Malaga offers a unique, warm Mediterranean festive atmosphere. The absolute main attraction is the spectacular light tunnel on the shopping street Calle Larios, which mesmerizes thousands of visitors every evening with its synchronized music and light show, while the traditional Christmas market at Paseo del Parque invites you to stroll under the palm trees.

The centerpiece of the festivities is Calle Larios, where the famous music and light show takes place several times each evening (typically around 6:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 10:00 PM). The lights of the massive arched tunnel flash and change colors in time with festive melodies. Throughout the day and evening, the Christmas market at Paseo del Parque offers dozens of stalls featuring artisan crafts, gifts, and local food. The nearby modern harbor area (Muelle Uno) also hosts a festive market and live music.

Both the Christmas market at Paseo del Parque and the spectacular light shows on Calle Larios are completely free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required to experience the festive magic of Malaga.
