Welcome to the Manchester Christmas Markets 2026
From 6 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, Manchester transforms into one of the UK's most magical festive destinations. As the country's largest and most traditional Christmas market—heavily inspired by continental European festive traditions—the celebration spans across the entire city center, anchored by the historic and stunning Albert Square.

The markets open daily from 10:00 AM. While craft and gift stalls close at 8:00 PM, food, drink, and mulled wine chalets stay open until 9:00 PM. Beyond Albert Square, themed market zones across King Street, St Ann's Square, and Cathedral Gardens create a connected, walkable festive trail throughout downtown Manchester.
