Welcome to the New Year's Eve Parties 2026/2027 in Maribor
Maribor rings in 2026/2027 with a broad mix of club nights, disco parties, live music with dinner and celebrations in the hotels on the edge of town. This guide focuses on the parties beyond the big city celebration on the square. One important note up front: only part of the 2026/2027 program has been published so far; for most venues the details below come from the last edition (2025/2026) and must be confirmed with each organizer before you plan.

Program & Schedule: When and Where to Celebrate New Year's Eve in Maribor
The city's New Year's Eve celebration traditionally takes place on Trg Leona Štuklja, with a DJ, live bands and food stalls, and it was free to attend at the last edition. The 2026/2027 program had not been published at the time of research. At the last edition there was also a family midday party on Glavni trg with a noon countdown, plus a sparkling wine tasting at the Old Vine House (home of the world's oldest vine). If you prefer a club, the old town and the edge of the city offer several addresses.
The following venues are not yet confirmed for 2026/2027 (details refer to the 2025/2026 edition). Past programs show what to expect: Luft celebrated from the evening into the early morning with house music and an optional three course dinner; Klub Feniks opened in the evening until 05:00 in the morning; Brigadir ran until at least 04:00; Hotel Arena combined dinner and a concert with Luka Basi and promised the biggest fireworks in town; Hotel Habakuk offered an elegant party with the band Victory and fireworks; Kazino Mond focused on dinner, live music into the night and a midnight waltz. The Pohorje cable car ran longer than usual on New Year's Eve.
Confirmed for 2026/2027 is the event at Festivalna dvorana Lent (Loška ulica 13) with live music, a DJ during the breaks and dinner on New Year's Eve 2026, from 20:00 to 04:00.
Tickets & Admission for New Year's Eve Parties in Maribor 2026/2027
Only one price is confirmed so far: the New Year's Eve party at Festivalna dvorana Lent costs 69 euros per person including dinner, with drinks paid separately at the regular price list. Reservation is mandatory and capacity is up to 350 guests; book by email at [email protected] or by phone. As a rough guide for the other venues, in 2025/2026 pure club nights cost about 12 to 25 euros, while hotel dinner events cost about 150 to 180 euros per person. These are not commitments for 2026/2027. Some parties sold out well before the turn of the year in the past.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Maribor
- At the last edition the city offered free buses and extra night rides for the celebration; check in advance whether this applies again in 2026/2027
- Late December is cold in Maribor, so bring warm winter clothing and sturdy shoes for terraces, squares and the trip up to Pohorje
- Book accommodation in Maribor and in the hotels below Pohorje early, since New Year's Eve packages with overnight stays fill up quickly
- Some clubs have an age limit (for example 21+ at Luft at the last edition), so carry a photo ID
- Secure tickets or table reservations for popular venues in good time and confirm prices with the organizer
