Welcome to the Maschseefest 2027 in Hanover
Maschseefest 2027 turns Lake Maschsee into Hanover’s biggest waterside summer festival from 28 July to 15 August. Over 19 days you get free live concerts, international food and a holiday atmosphere in the city centre – Germany’s largest lake festival, held for the 39th time.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Maschseefest 2027 runs for 19 days, from 28 July to 15 August. The detailed 2027 line-up is usually published closer to the festival on maschseefest.de. Expect a mix of pop, rock, party hits, folk, DJ sets, family shows and themed evenings along the shore. Four main stages and large food areas stretch across the north bank, east bank (including Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer / Geibel), south bank and west bank.
Typical opening hours in recent years: Monday–Thursday 14:00–01:00, Friday–Saturday 14:00–02:00, Sunday 12:00–01:00. Stalls at Geibel often close earlier for noise protection.
