Welcome to the Megaron Garden in Athens
Every summer, the 4.5 acre garden surrounding the Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall, turns into one of the city's most cherished cultural spots. Sitting on the lawn among orange, carob and acacia trees, the audience enjoys a colorful mix of concerts, open air cinema and family shows in the cool of the evening. The program is aimed at all ages and remains one of the most affordable ways to experience live outdoor music in Athens.

Program
The season at the Megaron Garden usually opens in mid June and runs through mid July. The opening nights typically feature well known Greek musicians, followed by a mix of concerts, children's programming and special musical collaborations. Recurring highlights include the "Karagiozis" shadow theatre on several dates, free UNITEL film screenings, and concerts ranging from tributes to Greek composers to jazz and world music. Most evening shows start around 9:00 PM, while some children's performances begin as early as 8:30 PM.
Tickets
Affordable pricing is the hallmark of the series: general admission usually costs 15 euros, while reduced or special shows (such as children's performances) cost around 10 to 12 euros. Some screenings, including the UNITEL film evenings, are free. Tickets are available through the Megaron website and by phone through the box office.
