Tickets
Admission to the Michelstadt Christmas Market is completely free. No tickets are required, and the entire market area in the historic old town is freely accessible to all visitors.
Visitor Tips
- Since parking in the small town is limited, arriving by train (Odenwaldbahn) is highly recommended.
- Visit during the evening hours when the timber-framed Town Hall and the narrow streets are romantically illuminated.
- Wear warm and comfortable shoes, as the historic cobblestones can be uneven and cold in winter.
- The nativity scene and the life-sized wooden figures make for excellent photo opportunities.
- Please note that the market is usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (check specific opening days in advance).
