From May 14 to 17, 2027, the Lower Rhine town of Moers once again turns into a world renowned laboratory for free jazz, avant garde music and improvisation over the Whitsun weekend. Since 1972, the festival has brought together pioneers of the scene and exciting newcomers, making it one of Europe's leading platforms for experimental sound.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The full 2027 lineup will be released gradually. Most recently the festival took place on Kastellplatz in the heart of Moers, surrounded by the festival village and familiar venues such as churches, the castle and the park. Between the main blocks on the large open air stage, concerts of very different genres run at the same time in the nearby venues.

The all days festival pass follows a Pay What You Can model, with the last edition offering tiers of 45, 87, 129 and 172 euros. Exact 2027 prices will be announced once ticket sales open. A separate campsite ticket costs around 30 euros in combination with a festival ticket. Children and teenagers up to 16 enter free when accompanied by a paying adult.
