From 20 November to 24 December 2026, the traditional "Montreux Noël" Christmas market transforms the picturesque Lake Geneva shoreline into a festive wonderland. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped Alps, one of Switzerland's most spectacular and beloved Christmas markets welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors with magical lights, charming wooden chalets, and an unforgettable holiday atmosphere.

Program
The market spans across Grand Rue and the scenic lakeside promenade of Montreux. Market chalets open from 11:00 AM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM on weekends. A major attraction delighting visitors of all ages is the daily flight of Santa Claus in his sleigh high above Lake Geneva, scheduled multiple times each evening (typically at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, with an extra weekend flight at 4:00 PM).

Admission to the open-air lakeside market areas and shopping promenade is entirely free of charge. Optional excursions, such as the mountain cogwheel train ride up to Santa's House at Rochers-de-Naye, require separate tickets.
