Welcome to the Moon & Stars 2027 in Locarno
Moon & Stars (Moon+Stars) runs from 15 to 25 July 2027 on Piazza Grande in Locarno. The open-air concert series on Lake Maggiore brings international and Swiss pop and rock acts to the historic square. The Food+Music Street with free shows on Piazza Piccola complements the main stage. Tickets and current line-ups are on moonandstars.ch.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival spans eleven days. Confirmed 2027 acts include Alex Warren, Tokio Hotel, Take That, Simply Red, Patent Ochsner, Hecht and Die Fantastischen Vier. More names will follow. Concerts usually start from around 18:00/20:00; the Food+Music Street opens earlier. Full daily timetable is on moonandstars.ch.
Piazza Grande is the heart of the event. Dynamic pricing applies; public sale opens on 28 September at 12:00 according to the organiser.
Tickets & Admission for Moon & Stars Locarno
Tickets are sold at moonandstars.ch and ticketcorner.ch plus the hotline. Prices are dynamic and rise as stock falls. Guidance from previous years: Standard from roughly 70–150 EUR (CHF converted), Golden Circle and VIP higher. Youth aged 8–16 usually pay half the Standard price. Children under 8 can buy low-price tickets on site (not for Golden Circle/VIP). Check exact 2027 prices in the official shop.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Locarno
- Train to Locarno (SBB); special late trains toward German-speaking Switzerland after shows possible
- Warm summer evenings; light evening wear and comfortable shoes
- Book accommodation in Locarno, Ascona or nearby early – peak season
- Use only official sales channels; avoid third-party resale sites
- Folding chairs and bulky seating are not allowed on Piazza Grande
