Welcome to the Moonspell – Opus Diabolicum 2026 in Alcobaça
On 5 December 2026 at 21:30 Moonspell present their special programme Opus Diabolicum at Panorama – Multiusos de Alcobaça. The Portuguese gothic metal band performs together with the Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa. Under the direction of Maestro Vasco Pearce de Azevedo and with orchestral arrangements by Filipe Melo, a total of 50 musicians take the stage. This is the third performance of this format after Lisbon 2024 and Mexico City 2026.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Opus Diabolicum concert unites the dark, atmospheric power of Moonspell with the grandeur of a symphony orchestra. The programme features iconic tracks from the band’s history as well as material from the conceptual album 1755, newly arranged for orchestra. The performance has already been documented as a live album and DVD and is regarded as one of the band’s most ambitious productions. The event is part of the Cistermúsica Fronteiras season and takes place in the modern multifunctional venue Panorama.

Tickets cost 30 euros and are available via the official Cistermúsica ticket platform and usual advance sales outlets. Admission is not free.
