Welcome to the Motives Festival 2026 in Tongeren
Motives Festival 2026 takes place from 1 to 4 October at the cultural centre De Velinx in Tongeren. The third edition of this nomadic jazz festival presents a strong selection of Belgian jazz bands with a special focus on Limburg talent and is organised in close collaboration with Belgium Booms x JazzLab.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The festival runs from 1 to 4 October 2026. On 1 October the programme opens with Ola Tunji and Alex Koo. On 2 and 3 October several Belgian formations take the stage, including Vanbuel-Weijters, Milan Verbist Trio, Stefan Bracaval “Zilt”, Olivier Chavet 4tet, Catharina Evens, Dear Uncle Lennie, Kin Gajo and An Pierlé Quartet. 4 October features a family performance. The programme offers a balanced mix of established and upcoming acts from the Belgian jazz scene with particular attention to Limburg.
