Welcome to the Mountain Shaker 2027 in Tignes
Mountain Shaker is Tignes' season festival: freestyle competition plus free concerts and village programming. Official dates are 17 to 22 January 2027, sixth edition. Because the Para Alpine Skiing World Championships sit in March 2027, the festival moves to January for the first time. Spectating and concerts are free per tignes.net. A ski pass is only for the slopes. Site: tignes.net.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The official calendar lists 17 to 22 January without hourly slots. A resort Instagram clip said 14 to 22 January; tignes.net remains the source. The 2027 music lineup was missing in September 2026. Big Air finals are a free snowfront show, not a paid ticket week like Tignes Unlimited in April.
Ski-only guests do not need a festival band. Standing at the kicker often needs no ski pass. Indoor FISE sits in the village.
Tickets & Admission for Mountain Shaker Tignes
Entry to competition, animation and concerts is free, so is_free is true and prices are 0. Ski passes are extra: Tignes-Val d'Isere adult day 78 euros in the 2026/27 main-season tariff. There is no week-long festival pass. No shop; programme only on tignes.net.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Tignes
- Train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then shuttle to Tignes le Lac or Val Claret
- January: cold and windy on the snowfront; pack warm layers
- Book rooms in Val Claret early for Big Air
- Arrive early at the kicker; sightlines are free and fill fast
- Use only tignes.net; do not mix summer dates or Unlimited tickets
