Welcome to the Music Unlimited Festival 2026 in Wels
The Music Unlimited Festival 2026 takes place from 5 to 8 November in Wels, Upper Austria. The 40th anniversary edition is curated by Brazilian musician Mariá Portugal under the motto “The Navel of the Dream”. At the Alter Schlachthof and additional venues, visitors experience experimental music, free improvisation, jazz, electronica, noise and punk far beyond the mainstream.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The festival opens on Thursday, 5 November 2026 at 19:30 with a free event including an exhibition and concerts at the Alter Schlachthof. Main concerts take place from Friday to Sunday (6–8 November) in the evenings at the Schlachthof, complemented by afternoon concerts at the Landesmusikschule (Saturday) and Bildungshaus Schloss Puchberg (Sunday). The programme spans experimental music and free improvisation, jazz, electronica, noise and punk. Tickets & Admission for Music Unlimited Festival Wels
Tickets are available via kupfticket.com and at the box office. Festival passes for Friday to Sunday (including afternoon concerts) cost €150 (reduced €130 / members €120). Evening-only passes are €120 (€100 / €90). Day tickets cost €45 (€40 / €35), afternoon concerts €20 (€18 / €16). The opening on 5 November is free. Reductions apply for students, pupils, unemployed persons, pensioners and members. Special heavily reduced tickets are available on request.
