Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Aix-les-Bains

  • Travel by train to Aix-les-Bains – Le Revard station (TGV from Paris approx. 2.5–3 hours, TER from Lyon or Chambéry). From there about 15 minutes on foot or by shuttle to the Esplanade.
  • By car via the A41; use paid park-and-ride car parks with free shuttles as city-centre parking is limited.
  • Bring sun protection, comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing – the site is open and can be hot or windy.
  • Book accommodation in Aix-les-Bains, Chambéry or Annecy early. The official lakeside campsite is a practical alternative.
  • Combine the festival with a boat trip on Lake Bourget or a trip into the surrounding mountains.
