Welcome to the Mill of the Elves 2026
Greece's largest and most famous Christmas theme park, the "Mill of the Elves" (Mylos ton Elfikon), opens its doors once again in 2026. Located in the picturesque city of Trikala (Thessaly), the historic Matsopoulos stone mill complex is transformed into a magical winter wonderland. The unique concept of an industrial mill blended with festive magic attracts thousands of families and holiday enthusiasts every year.

Program
From late November 2026 to January 6, 2027, the park operates daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Visitors can wander through the different levels of the old mill, where elves are busy making presents. The park features regular theatrical performances, musical events, and creative workshops. While the overarching theme changes slightly each year, the fairytale atmosphere remains a constant delight.
Tickets
General admission to the "Mill of the Elves" is completely free, making it one of the most accessible holiday destinations in Europe. However, specific rides in the Fun Park, the ice skating rink, and food stalls require separate payment. No advance reservations are needed for entry.
Visitor Tips
- Since admission is free, weekends and holidays can be very crowded. Visiting on a weekday or arriving early in the morning is highly recommended.
- Dress warmly, as winters in Trikala can be chilly and many attractions are outdoors.
