What is Mysteryland in Haarlemmermeer?
Mysteryland has been running since 1993 and is widely considered the world's longest running dance music festival. It traditionally takes place on the final weekend of August at the former Floriade grounds in Haarlemmermeer, about 20 kilometres southwest of Amsterdam and just 5 kilometres from Schiphol Airport. The festival is known for its cross genre programming spanning house, techno, hardstyle, urban and dubstep across multiple stages, plus elaborate stage design, fireworks and drone shows, drawing visitors from more than 100 countries.
When does Mysteryland take place?
The last regular edition ran from 22 to 24 August 2025. Organiser ID&T deliberately paused the festival in 2026 to reshape its concept for the future, with a return confirmed for 2027. Exact dates, prices and the lineup for 2027 have not yet been announced. Fans can register for presale updates at mysteryland.nl.

Where exactly is the festival held?
Mysteryland takes place on the former Floriade grounds in Haarlemmermeer; the navigation address for drivers is Stelling, 2141 CP Vijfhuizen. The connected campsite sits directly next to the festival grounds (navigation address Hoofdweg 543, Hoofddorp). Arriving by car is not recommended due to unpredictable queues.
How do you get to the festival?
The easiest way to arrive is by train to Hoofddorp station. A continuous shuttle bus runs from the station to the festival grounds and campsite throughout the event days, and is considered far more reliable than driving.
How much do tickets cost?
At the last edition in 2025, day tickets ranged from 61.50 to 71.50 euros, weekend tickets started at 119.50 euros, and combined weekend plus camping tickets went up to around 223 euros. Lockers and resort or glamping upgrades are also available for extra comfort on the campsite. The festival is strictly 18 and over.
Visitor Tips
- Register early for the 2027 presale, since weekend tickets have historically sold out fastest.
- Choose train plus shuttle bus over driving to avoid long queues.
- If camping, pack a power bank and warm clothing for the nights.
- Bring valid photo ID, as age checks at the entrance are strict (18+).
