Welcome to the 2027 Narcissus Festival in Grundlsee
From 27 to 30 May 2027, the Ausseerland Salzkammergut turns once again into a fragrant sea of flowers. The Narzissenfest (Narcissus Festival) is considered Austria's largest flower festival; elaborately arranged figures made from fresh star shaped daffodils draw thousands of visitors. In 2027 the highlight takes place in Grundlsee, where the daffodil figures are presented on festival Sunday, 30 May, during an atmospheric boat parade on the lake.

Program
The four day festival begins on 27 May 2027 in the Ausseerland; the detailed program for the first days will be announced closer to the event. The actual festival Sunday on 30 May is the highlight: from 9:00 AM, the festival grounds in Grundlsee are open to visitors, with music, magicians and culinary specialties. In the afternoon, the boat parade takes place on the lake, where the elaborately arranged daffodil figures can be admired on the water. A jury evaluates the figures according to set criteria before the winners are announced at 3:00 PM over the speaker points spread across the festival grounds, marking the festive conclusion.

Entry to the festival grounds on the first days is free. For festival Sunday and the boat parade, a day ticket in the form of a wristband is required, available for around 19 euros directly at the entrances and throughout the festival grounds. Children and teenagers up to the age of 15 enter free of charge. Free parking and shuttle buses to the venue in Grundlsee run throughout the day.
