Welcome to New Year's Eve 2026/2027 in Tilburg
Tilburg marks the turn of 2026 into 2027 with free municipal New Year shows: an early family programme in Reeshofpark and a countdown night at Stadsforum on Willemsplein, beside the Paleis-Raadhuis. The official city events calendar lists the “Tilburg Vuurwerkvrij Show” at both sites on 31 December 2026. Consumer fireworks are banned across the municipality; the public spectacle uses lights, lasers, theatre, music and limited stage fireworks, plus dozens of neighbourhood gatherings.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027
The municipal format is well established for New Year's Eve 2026/2027. Reeshofpark usually hosts a short family show in the early evening (recently around 19:15, often with extra programme until about 21:00). Stadsforum typically opens with live music from 20:00; the main countdown show has started around 23:25, with the square remaining festive until 01:00. Exact 2026 times, artists and weather rules are published nearer the date at tilburg.nl/nieuwjaar.
Expect a more weather-resilient production that leans on light, projection and theatre rather than a single midnight firework burst. Bars and clubs around Heuvel, Piusplein and the Spoorzone run their own parties; those tickets are not part of the free city programme. 1 January 2027 is more about brunches, concerts and after-parties than a second major square show.
Tickets & Admission for New Year's Eve Tilburg
Official city shows at Stadsforum and Reeshofpark, and the subsidised neighbourhood events, are free to attend. There is no municipal ticket; access is via the open event areas. Paid options exist only at private venues: drink prices or party packages can range from modest door fees to around 100 euros per person depending on the club or restaurant. Always check the venue and the city page for the latest details.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Tilburg
- Stadsforum on Willemsplein is a short walk from Tilburg Centraal station. Reeshofpark in the west is best reached by city bus or bike. Use public transport or walk on 31 December, as traffic controls are common.
- Late December in North Brabant is cold, often wet and windy. Wear layers, waterproof shoes and a hat; the municipality has stated shows can continue in adapted form in poorer weather.
- Book hotels near the centre, Spoorzone or Heuvel early. Combining the family show and the midnight countdown means allowing travel time between Reeshof and downtown.
- Private fireworks (except F1 novelty items) are banned throughout Tilburg and its villages. Keep pets away from show zones.
- Traditional treats include oliebollen and warm drinks. Catering has been present on Stadsforum after midnight in recent years. Check tilburg.nl for barriers and the neighbourhood list.
