The Christmas market on Place des Quinconces is listed for 27 November to 27 December 2026, so the chalets close before New Year's Eve; seasonal lights, rides and ice-rink dates can extend into the first days of January depending on the city calendar.
For a public countdown, crowds typically gather on the quays and around Place de la Bourse. Do not plan around a city fireworks show: unlike 14 July, 31 December has no official pyrotechnic display in Bordeaux. Individual 2026/2027 club line-ups and cabaret bills are usually released in autumn; dinner-show seats sell out first.
