The spectacular Rhine in Flames event will take place on 19 September 2026 in St. Goar, marking the traditional season finale of this celebrated festival series along the Middle Rhine. The evening's highlight is a grand fireworks display in front of the famous Loreley rock, accompanied by a convoy of illuminated ships that transform the Rhine between St. Goar and St. Goarshausen into a sea of lights.

The event attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year to the banks of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. In addition to the fireworks, guests can enjoy a free land program featuring live music on three stages distributed across the Rhine promenade and the historic town centre of St. Goar.
