Weinfest Stadtamhof 2026: Wine Festival Starts Today in Regensburg

The Weinfest Stadtamhof in Regensburg begins today, Friday 18 September, and runs through Sunday, 20 September 2026, with the festival starting at 17:00.

For three days, the Regensburg district of Stadtamhof, right on the Danube, turns into a lively wine mile. Between historic facades and cosy outdoor seating areas, regional winemakers and numerous food stalls invite visitors to enjoy wine, music and good food.

The wine stands pour regional as well as Italian wines, from red and rosé to white. Stadtamhof sits directly opposite Regensburg's old town and is reachable on foot via the historic Stone Bridge. Since parking is scarce around the festival grounds, arriving by bus, train or bicycle is recommended. Mild late summer weather is expected in mid September, so a light jacket for the evenings is worth bringing, and visitors hoping for a seat on the terraces should arrive early in the evening.
